Hi Luke,

 

i think it's not correct information, you don't need to install Java 6. Of
course it's better to test it:)

Our client is using OpenCms 9.5.3. Reviewing this page
http://www.opencms.org/en/modules/downloads/dl-opencms-9.5.3-distribution.ht
ml. It says this version requires Java 6 because of library dependencies. Is
that because when 9.5.3 was released Java 6 was the latest and Java 8 would
work fine or do we need to downgrade to Java 6 to make 9.5.3 work correctly?
