[opencms-dev] OpenCms + IntelliJ IDEA

Hi Alberto,

actually I don’t know. I didn’t give it much thought. I didn’t get the Gradle build working in IntelliJ and since I knew that Alkacon work with Eclipse I gave it a shot. And it worked - as far as I remember - almost out of the box. Why this is so, I don’t know. It’s possible that the project on GitHub contains some Eclipse configuration that can’t be used by IntelliJ.

Does this mean that Eclipse handles better the gradle script, or is it that the '.classpath' and '.project' files from the opencms-core source repository contain the necessary configuration to work with the sources? If the later is the case, it is a bit worrying (build configuration duplicated in gradle and eclipse)...
