[opencms-dev] Empty wizard for layout rows

Hi John,
all Gallery views (which also include the new dialogs in the frontend as you described it) use the „Solr Offline“ index or if you use OpenCms 9.x or older a special index called „Gallery Index“. So actually your custom index should not interfere with that. That said, it depends on the settings you did for your custom index and if those settings „do something“ with the Offline index. This could be the case if you changed things in the schema.xml config file for solr.
You could check the opencms.log or opencms-search.log for possible issues as well.
HTH
Best regards
Kai

Hi Kai,
Thanks for the response, I didn't think about the solr index, would the fact that I had a created a custom index for my site cause this issue ?
Best regards
John

Hi John,
if it is not just a matter of layout rows not showing up, rebuilding your search index (Solr Offline) might help.

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Empty wizard for layout rows
Hi All,
Suddenly my OpenCms installation has stopped displaying layout rows in the page and template add content wizard,
when I click on the wand and select Template->Layout rows (Magnifier) i get an empty box, even if I navigate to a folder containing layout rows I still get get an empty box.
I have restarted tomcat, rebooted the server, cleared my browser cache etc and nothing seems to fix this.
Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
John
