[opencms-dev] Cannot add template area to new container page

How do I associate a Layout Area with a newly created Container Page? There doesn't appear to be an intuitive way to do this. You cannot drag and drop because everything is grayed out and the Container Page is red. Is there some code you need to put in the Container Page properties?

Thanks

Ivan

Hello Ivan,

could you please send more information about your installation? Which OpenCms version are you using? Are you creating the pages under the demo site?

Anyway I suggest to check if you configured the property "Template" of the container page and check the file .content/.config under your site.

Kind regards

Every time I create a new container page I get a red message saying "Template Developer" and saying I need to add a template area. However, I cannot select and move template area to the container page even though I have the Super Admin and Templator roles. How do I assign a template element (or any element for that matter) to the new container page? This seems like a bug.

Thank for your help.

Ivan
