Hi Jochen,
Just an update. Reloading the page does not work. The wand still does not let you select "Layout row" or "Custom Layout Row" after you have processed a "Layout Area".

Hi Jochen,
I tried to execute the steps below. I was able to do the first two. On the third "Layout row" is not selectable. Tried "Custom Layout row" and it too is not selectable. Not sure what to do next. Please advise.
Thanks
Ivan
Hi Ivan,
the easiest way is to display images with a Mercury "Content section". If you have the OpenCms demo installed locally, have a look at [1] for an example.
In the tutorial, have a look at [2] to see how to create a new content section and how to reuse existing content sections on different pages.
A content section can be placed into a row. Starting from an empty page:
- go to wand icon > Template elements > click on "Layout area"
- drag and drop one of the provided areas into your page, e.g. "Area - One row"
- go to wand icon > Template elements > click on "Layout row"
- drag and drop one of the provided rows into your layout area, e.g. "Row 1 column (12 -full)"
- go to wand icon > Content elements
- drag and drop a new section content into your layout row
- add an image to your section content as described in [3]
- go to wand icon > Content elements > click on "Content section"
- drag and drop one of the existing content sections into a layout row
Best
Jochen

Hi Jochen,
Right now I would like it present on all pages, but if possible can you show me how to do it both ways mentioned?
Thank you so much for your help.
Ivan

Hi Ivan,
should the logo be part of the web page header present on all pages of your site? Or do you simply want to place your logo in the body of a single web page?
Best
Jochen

I am trying to use the Mercury template. I am trying to simply place my company logo in the left hand corner of the webpage. How do I do that using the Mercury template? Everything I select says deprecated and creates an area in the center of the webpage. The documentation doesn't seem to address this. Am I missing something? Thank you for your help.
Ivan
