Hi Christoph,

maybe you did not activate the JSON API [1]? The JSON API is disabled by 
default.

You can check this by requesting the endpoint

http://localhost/json/?wrapper=false

which should return

{
     "shared": {},
     "sites": {},
     "system": {}
}
