[opencms-dev] backup a project

hi,

today i've finished my first project. and i have to admit that OpenCms is great! 
but now i have a question about something such a back-up function.
is it possible to back up the whole project before i publish it. the reason for my question is the project will be deleted after publishing it. how can i change some contents after publishing it?
