[opencms-dev] missing 'new' icon

After installing opencms 4.6 I find that the 
at least one icon is missing.
The 'New' icon in the explorer view that is.

Also importing a .zip file from a opencms 4.4 installation
which I put into CATALINE_HOME/webapps/WEB-INF/export
seemd to get read in only partially. Half of the .gif pics
in my pics/content tree were missing.
