[opencms-dev] Installing with Oracle: Problems and Suggestions

Hello,

I've tried to install OpenCMS 4.6.1 for production use with a Oracle 9i 
database for a customer of me. Unfortunately the setup wizard wants to 
create tablespace and user for OpenCMS. Using Oracle (and other mature 
databases) it is usual tha the database administrator creates a user and 
other resources (e.g. tablespaces, etc.) for the application/user.

So I suggest to split up the options in the setup wizard to separate the 
creation of database/user from the creation of the actual tables within 
the database. This would help a lot on setting up OpenCMS together with 
oracle and there's no further need to twiddle around in the SQL scripts 
used by the setup process.

Unfortunately, although having commented out the drop user and create user 
statements, the import of the workspace is not successful. I've attached 
the log output further down.

My environment:

RedHat Linux 7.3
Resin 2.1.1 or Resin 2.1.5
Java 1.3.1
Oracle 9i
Using genericSQL with JDBC thin driver

Installation of OpenCMS 5.0 beta1 in the above environment runs with no 
problems.
