one easy solution would be to replace the currently static *.css file
with a JSP page that has a minimal logic for that direction attribute.
Another way would be to make the path to the *.css optional and the
place the *.css in the locale directory, but this would require
modification of almost all workplace templates.
 
In case you are interested, we have developed a tool that helps in the
translation process of the workplace. This will only run with the latest
OpenCms version from the CVS, or with the next major OpenCms release. In
case you run a CVS based installation and are interested in this, I can
mail you this.

Hi All,
i try to add a nother language to OpenCms -Arabic language- i already
add a local to workplace and translate all the icons and buttons and
lsbels , no problem , but i want the view of my pages to be Right To
Loft  when choosing Arabic Language , i found that may be done in
opencms/etc/ocsetup/vfs/system/workplase/resources/format.css file  and
i add this code in body class :
BODY
{
    COLOR: #000000;
    FONT-FAMILY: sans-serif;
    FONT-SIZE: 11px;
    DIRECTION: RTL
}
but it affect all the system and languages , r any one know how to make
that apply only when i choose my specific language ??
