Hello,
sure it`s possible to do that, but i don`t understand the effort to
integrate comercial software like Jive into an Opensource Project.So why don`t you integrate a freeware Java Forum into Opencms? For example

Ok but now back to topic. You can build modules in Opencms, with full Java
and JSP Support. You can build backoffice Modules for configure your Forum
and so on. Tutorials and Downloads you find under
