Hi all,

since nobody replied to my current problem, i am trying to clarify.

i can reproduce the problem on 3 different installations, i would be very
surprised, if nobody has the same problem too.

when changing some pages,...... i try to publish them.
publishing takes place, but the system behaves like nothing had been
changed. The question for unlocking is asked,
and the files are unlocked afterwards. but the files are still blue/red.

my problem is, that restarting the context '/opencms' only doesn't solve the
problem. the only way to solve the problem is to
restart the whole tomcat instance. i can't do that at my provider.

so i hope, somebody can reproduce the problem too, or has a solution
therefore.

greetings from austria,

mario

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Problems with publishing

Dear Mailinglist,

in the last days, i have the following problem:

While working with openCms it seems, that publishing doesn't work anymore
after some time and publishes.
I tried to touch the files, no chance, publishing doesn't work.
the only way is to restart the tomcat instance, because restarting only the
context doesn't solve the problem.

in my production environment, we are using a provider where we don't have
access to the tomcat server.
we can only restart the context.

any ideas ?

Mario
