I find the easiest thing to do (and what we recommend to our users) is
to copy and paste into Notepad, then copy that into OpenCMS. It will
strip any formatting and allow you to do that in the CMS. As for any
automated "cleanup", I'd be interested in it if it would make changes
before publishing (so a user can see it in the offline project).

Hi all,

I am trying to find a way to clean html after a paste from MS word. I
noticed that opencms uses jtidy. I found a class
com.opencms.htmlconverter and overwrote it by adding line
m_tidy.setWord2000(true) in the method public void convertHTML (Reader
input, Writer output). Did not seem to make any difference - Anyone know
what I am doind wrong? :)
