[opencms-dev] About Hierarchies of User Gruops

Hello.

When creating a gruop you can say if it has 'a parent'. You can even create
a complex hierarchie but, What is the adventage of doing that? I mean:
- The users of the parent gruop are not automatically included in the group
you are creating.
- When asking to cms.user you can obtain the group of the user and his
'default' group, but nothing about the hierarchy (the parents groups,...).
I supuse it 'inheritates' some properties of the parents but which ones?
Is it something related with access to contents (A_CmsContentDefinition in
cms.opencms.defaults)?

I hope to be answering (and no only asking) in an couple of weeks, if I
decide to use OpenCms.

Thanks in avance
