[opencms-dev] Templating

Context : I would like to change the distribution of my site frecuently.

In the documentation I've found, the templating is achieved by splitting 
the master template in pieces and including the pieces from the 
pages-to-be-rendered.
Struts works in a different way. Te template declares variables and the 
sons define them.
Is there a way to do that thing here?
Using Struts templating is disencouraged?
