[opencms-dev] Deleting inherited rights in 5.3.4???

Hmm, I am sure the security works. There must be some misunderstanding. 

How do you know that this did not work?

FYI: The new permissions should be visible on any resource in the folder
("/protected") in your case.
So if there is a file "index.html" in that folder check the permissions of
that file.
On the folder itself the "inherited permissions" shown will not change, even
though the permissions added for the folder in the area below are of course
valid.
