[opencms-dev] Error while publishing a big folder

Dear all,
I'm using OpenCms 5.0.1 with MySql. This version of MySql has a variable
called max_allowed_packet that limits the size of the file we upload
(mine max_allowed_packet = 16M ), so I only can upload files to 16MB of
size. When I upload files which have a max of 16MB one by one everything
is ok, but when a do "publish directly" under of folder where these
files are (i.e folder size > 16 MB), the OpenCms simply crashes. I
thought that publishing a folder was simply a insert/update of the
tables where the online resources and files
were.

I searched the mailing lists and bug tracking and I didn't found
anything relating with this. Anyone can tell me why this is happening
and how to resolve this?

Thanks all,

Rodrigo Baptista
