[opencms-dev] xml content and template details

In the instructions on setting up XML content, you connect the details page
to the content using the template-details property of the directory. How do
you handle the case where you have files using different XML content in the
same directory? In this case, both types of files use the same
template-details property resulting in one file using the wrong details.jsp.
I tried setting the property on the file, but that doesn't appear to work (I
am getting errors from the file trying to access the other detail page). In
addition, requiring the user to set the details property on each file is a
bit much to ask (especially if you have hundreds of files).

This might be able to be solved if there is a way to assign default property
values to newly created directories or files?
