[opencms-dev] HTML import: some pages are not displayedafterimported

Hi Ulrich,

 

I’m working with the html import module.

The problem is the html pages that contain FRAME or FRAMESET html
markups are not displayed well in browser after the importing.

The browser window looks like a blank window.

 

This occurred because the templates of the module had the DTD
‘Transitional’ declaration. The html pages that contain FRAME/FRAMESET
have other DTD, which is ‘Frameset’. Check out HYPERLINK

tmlhelp.com/reference/html40/html/doctype.html 

 

We’ve found the solution by making a template with the ‘DTD HTML 4.0
Frameset’ declaration that supports BOTH types of html documents :D

can you describe the problem more closely? Your attachment seems to be
empty...

Hi list,

I’m having this problem with this module (version 1.3 in OpenCms 5.0.1.
under Windows 2000 Professional).

The pages are imported without errors but cannot be visualized in the
browser.

It seems like the problem occurs with the pages which contain FRAME
and/or TBODY labels, but maybe there are some more ones.

Any ideas?
