Following your advice I was indeed able to create this template and have it 
listed by the GUI.

Now, I have another question. Assuming that I am located in "/", I was 
creating a dir in my module in order to put "css" and other files in there. 
After that, how will be able to reference files in this extra dir if the GUI 
keeps everything in the DB and doesn't create the respective changes in the 
file system?
For example, the "welcome" module has a dir called "resources" and templates 
refer to the content of that directory. I want to apply the same mechanism 
for my module too!
