[opencms-dev] Saved HTML documents not displayed correctly

Hi all,

 

I am having problems with displaying saved HTML documents correctly.
After uploading the files using OpenCms they lose some of their
formatting and '?' appear in certain places. The documents are saved as
web documents with MS Word and seem to display fine when opened with IE
6.0 on the local file system. I have also tried saving the documents
with MS Frontpage as HTML, but it has the same effect after they get
uploaded to the VFS and they are opened in the web browser again or
previewed from within the workplace. 

I am using OpenCms RC1, JBOSS 4.0.1 and Oracle 9i as the database. 

 

Any help would be appreciated!
