I apologize if this is not the right venue for this question, but I am 
currently looking at Open Source CMS systems as possible solutions for our 
current setup (Interwoven's TeamSite.)

I have just installed a demo on a workstation to give it a whirl, but it 
appears to me that this is mainly a database driven solution. Is that 
correct? Does it have any kind of flat file content management capabilities 
(i.e. can it manage content outside of a database)?

If it does not manage such content (without custom coding), how does an 
organization normally convert a large intranet and internet (with several 
sub-domains in both classes) to this setup?

I have other questions, but guess I'll wait to see what kind of response 
this gets.
