[opencms-dev] Files disappearing from static export directory when publish button pressed

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately it's not that simple. If there
is an image published in section A of the site, and someone makes a
small edit to section B and presses the publish button, then
(sometimes!) images in section A disappear from the static export
directory.
Consequently the image is broken (ie 404 ed) on the live website.
I havn't had time to investigate thoroughly, but it's as if the
entire static export directory is cleared when the publish button is
pressed, and then recreated, but some intermittent error prevents some
images from being created.
