[opencms-dev] Where search indexes are Used?ٌٍ

Hi,

Can you please help me find out which part of OpenCms uses search indexes?

For Example, we create a Source named MySource and create an index named MyIndex in fa local and points MySource to /site/default/mysite/fa.

It is straight forward until here. But what next, does it enough? Don't we need to define this MyIndex some where else? Which code uses this index and how we shall pass this MyIndex variable to it? For example should we define it as a property of a folder? Should we configure it for TemplteOne?
