Dears,
I'm using 6.2.1 on postgresql without any problem.
My settings are -xmx1024M.

I know that there is a problem on the JDBC driver for postgresql discussed
here:

http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-jdbc/2006-08/msg00097.php

the only way is giving to Tomcat session a good amount of heap-memory.
Perhaps the problem installing should appear during the workspace import
(where there are many JDBC transactions).
Try also to replace the postgresql jdbc driver with a new updated version.

Let me know
