[opencms-dev] Image galleries scope, visibility, permissions?

Let's assume that..
a user U1 belongs to a specific Organizational Unit (OU) and therefore 
he can access only a specific sub-tree of the VFS like /sites/mysite

When editing a html page he can insert an image (the schema's page has a 
imagegallery widget)

The pop-up which manage the image insertion has drop-down menù that 
shows ALL the available imagegalleries in the VFS.

Although the user has specific permission only on 'mysite' he can see 
galleries of other sites and even uploading images on galleries where he 
doesn't have the right to do so!!!

Am I missing anything in term of configuration, permissions...
Would it be possible to show in the drop-down menù only galleries 
belonging to the current site, or (even better) galleries the current 
user has right to see?
