Hi Ganesh,
you won't have to write any db-code.
Have a look at the template two in /system/modules/,
probably it would be enough for you to modify that template
to your needs.
You can find explanations on how to write templates
in the wiki (www.opencms-wiki.org). Also there is a book
on OpenCms which I can recommend (
OpenCms 7 Development, Extending and customizing OpenCms
through its Java API).
Expect to invest quite some time to really understand how
OpenCms works.
