Hi,
are you sure that your problem is a problem of opencms and not one of
your browser or perhaps proxy-related?
The problem seems to be strongly cache-related, but there might be
several caches involved in the delivery of the file.
Besides the tomcat internal caching of classes there is the flexcache of
opencms. If you use a combination of apache and tomcat on your server,
then apache might be configured as a caching proxy. The next step on the
way to your browser might be some transparent proxy of your internet
provider (in the case you access your server via the internet). And as a
last cache, your browser may contain several caches for speed optimization).
I'd suggest you to have a closer look at the cache settings for the file
type you are using.
