Hi Tobias,

You’re right. I finally found the problem.

The call to CmsWorkplaceMessages.getResourceTypeDescription() in
CsmGalleryService.buildTypesList() caused an exception because I omitted the
info attribute in <newresource> tag of the resource type inside the gallery.

Thanks for your help.

Bye, Leo

Hi Leo,

what exactly did you do to extend the A_CmsAdeGalleryWidget? I would think
it should work properly if you copy the CmsAdeDownloadGalleryWidget and only
replace the method getGalleryTypes returning a comma separated list of the
resource type names you want to make available.

Greetings, Tobias

Hi,

i’m trying to create a widget to select a custom content type from a custom
gallery. I extended A_CmsAdeGalleryWidget like in
CmsAdeDownloadGalleryWidget.

When I open the gallery widget in xml editor, the widget shows up correctly;
I can select the galleries but when click on the “select” icon on the items
in the galleries nothing happens. I looked for errors with Firebug but there
are none. Only the “delete” icon seems to work.

Any suggestion?

Thanks, Leo
