[opencms-dev] Gaps in resource history version numbers

Thanks for the feedback.

So far I cannot confirm any negative consequences, but since this particular
customer is in the financial services industry, they're subjected to
frequent audits.

The problem with a version number gap in this scenario is the time that one
will have to expend convincing the auditor that the gap is just a harmless
technical glitch, not some cover-up scheme. Waste of time, no doubt, but if
I can provide a sound argument that this is a normal behaviour then I could
avoid wasting it in first place.
