Yes I have set the property "export" to "true". My 'staticexport.path'
is
set to a folder in htdocs of Apache. A property 'exportname' does not
exist
in my properties file. The stylesheet is still not to find.

I don't understand that example. Where do I have to specify
"/my/resources/"
and whats the relationship to "/system/modules/.../resources/"?

Ok, I used a picture gallerie, and it has exported the picture to
"/pics/".
But the link to the picture is wrong. It still uses the reference from
the
VFS.

If I use a simple text file, and give it the extension ".php" it would
work,
but then it doesn't appear in the navigation, since it's no html file
and I
cannot include my templates.

If I use a html file, I cannot add a php script.

If I use a JSP file, it also doesn't work.

This is a very big problem for me.

Any ideas?

Tanks for your help

To include script files (asp ... but it doesn=92t matter ... you can =
also
use php) .. I did the following ... (just change all references of asp
to php)

1. Create a jsp page in my main html directory called kontakt.asp (ie.
becomes kontakt.asp.jsp)

2. Added the nav properties to the page, NavText and NavPos manually

3. Edited the sourcecode to
-----------------------------------------------
<%@ page session=3D"false" %>
<%@ taglib prefix=3D"cms" uri=3D"http://www.opencms.org/taglib/cms" %>
<cms:include
file=3D"/system/modules/ch.xxx.www/jsptemplates/maintemplate.jsp"
element=3D"head"/>
<b>Kontakt</b>
<p align=3D'center'>
<cms:include
file=3D"/system/modules/ch.xxx.www/resources/includes/kontakt.asp"
element=3D"body"/></p>
<cms:include file=3D"/system/modules/ch.xxx.www/jsptemplates/
maintemplate.jsp" element=3D"foot"/>
-----------------------------------------------
This simply includes the head and foot of my main template and includes
a script file

4. Added the script file as a plain file called kontakt.asp to
/system/modules/ch.xxx.www/resources/includes/

5. That=92s it =85.

Take a look at the property "exportname" of the folder
"/sytem/galleries/pics/". The files in that folder are placed, when
being
exported to the /real/ file system, in the folder
"$staticexport.path/pics/".

Take a look at the examples, especially to "cms.link()".

Create a new "page" with the extension ".php", add a property
e. g. "php_code=/my/php/test.php" and include the code by your template
by reading the property, so you can use different code for each page.

Take a look at http://62.245.145.118/de/ ; it combines PHP and OpenCms,
e. g. the forum template is done by OpenCms resp. all templates, and
they use sometimes also PHP-content.

Reply-To: opencms-dev at opencms.org

Hi all,

I have trouble exporting some projects from 5rc2 to 5.0final.

I think this is related to a "trick" we used.

We needed to have to different projects rendering pages with different
templates but with the same *content*. So one project is the "master",
the other is the slave.

We did this with the XML-controlcode of the file.

e.g. salve file ist
studierende/studium/angebot/studiengaenge/geodaesie.html

but in the controlfile of this file we call

<TEMPLATE>/system/bodies/interessierte/studium/angebot/studiengaenge/geo
daesie.html</TEMPLATE>

which points to the master project.

This works fine for us. Except for the exporting.

I get the following error messages:

  [16.07.2003 14:17:50] <opencms_critical>
com.opencms.core.CmsException: [com.opencms.file.mySql.CmsDbAccess]

Question: How can I get this projects exported correctly? Otherwise I
can not upgrade to 5.0final...

And: Are there ways to export the projects as well? The got completly
lost in older version and I had to set them up manually before upgrading

to a newer version.

Sven

I am trying to do the same and it is working, too, but how did you solve
this problem:

I am using mastertemplates M1 and M2 and have two pages /1/p1 and /2/p1
using M1 resp. M2 but the same template /system/bodies/1/p1.

Now the problem:
I have a link in the content area of page /1/p1 to the page /1/p1/sub_p1
but now I of course do _not_ want to use the same link in /2/p1, the
link in /2/p1 should point to /2/p1/sub_p1, but i does not.

Also using relative links didn't work; I tried using <a href="sub_p1">
but then the exported page linked to
"system/modules/mymodule/jsptemplates/sub_p1".

Any suggestion?

Did you delete the "not needed" files in /system/bodies?
If there aren't too many you could create them manually.

I don't know any way to export the project settings.

Reply-To: opencms-dev at opencms.org

Hi there.

I am utterly new to Tomcat and OpenCms, and am attempting to get it
running on Mac OSX Server
(mainly to see if it's any cop ;-)

So i've upgraded Tomcat from the pre-installed v3.something to a fresh
copy of v4.1.24

And low, the server works, the examples work, the opencms package is in

the right place and I get as far as ocsetup (choosing standard or
advanced) and then hang my head in shame as I get the torrent of errors

given below. (on the content_encoding.jsp page)

What else might help?

java version "1.4.1_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_01-39)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1_01-14, mixed mode)

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Sam
